It seems that I have had to take to complaining online about The Car Shop Swindon about a purchase of a 2nd hand Volvo V50 D5 SE LUX - top spec, 60'000miles and £13'000! Whilst my complaint may seem minor - "it's just a rear view mirror" it is more the fact that the item SHOULD have worked when I purchased it, it is an optional extra that costs money and adds value to the vehicle and I require it to be rectified. It also doesn't help when they are very rude on the telephone and say that "their 3 month warranty doesn't cover it". They seem to miss the point that the Sales of Goods Act 1979 helps us buyers!
I have posted about an issue on a Volvo Forum with details and I will attach the letters and communications from The Car Shop swindon and their very unhelpful "customer service" team. Faulty Volvo V50 D5 Rear View Mirror - No longer dims
